Special Needs Program

The special education program offered by Adam Lanser Photo Video is an ABA based photo and video work training program for young adults with special needs.  Adam Lanser combined his 15 years of working with children with special needs and his 5 years of photo and video work to create this program.

Process:
Meeting with those who have worked closely with the student throughout their academics (ie. Parents, caretakers, teachers, 1:1 support, ABA therapists, etc…) to design a program to equip them to become photographers, photo editors, videographers, or video EDITORs.  Adam Lanser will then meet with the student and parent/caretaker and find out what they would like to learn/incorporate into their MY.E.P.

The MY.E.P. is very similar to THE structure of an IEP (INDIVIDUALIZED EDUCATION PLAN).  There is an observation to determine the clients baseline/skill level, including students hopes or desires is taken into consideration, goals are developed, and a plan is designed.  Supports such as checklists, visual schedules, timers, student’s personal supports can also be utilized. Reinforcers and breaks are also implemented.
3 month or 6 month progress reports are sent out as well as a yearly review.
